Even more jewellery!
Our shiny new cabinet arrived and, with the help of a lot of people, it was taken over on the ferry and carefully moved into the shop. Now we have even more space for our silver jewellery!

After a lot of trial and error I finally have my beautiful cardboard packaging! I designed the cardboard insert myself as the packaging company I use had never done this before. ALL of our packaging is now 100% plastic free!

The New HQ for The Silver Grasshopper
After 5 years in my tiny workshop – we are building a new one! With it’s own office and the workshop being a lot bigger than my current place, this will really improve the whole experience when I am making my jewellery.

Supporting Scottish designers and makers
Our jewellery is made here on Raasay and all of our beautiful gifts, including the amazing Skye candles, are designed and produced here in Scotland. I am so proud that I can say everything in my shop is made/designed by Scottish companies. So much talent out there!

Where it all began
Where it all begins! After spending some time in Glasgow studying silversmithing and a few years in Sweden, I arrived home to the Isle of Raasay. I worked in the local hotel and built up a stock of tools and supplies..
